ABOUT Beacon
Beacon is an app for aviation maintenance owned by EmbraerX (multinational aerospace manufacturer). At the time when they approached me, Beacon had a logo and brand graphic, but were in need of someone to create a logo suite of production-ready files, create a brand guideline book, design a website, and establish a social media presence.
Brand Guidelines
As a new company, Beacon was looking for a designer to make sense of the few assets they had. They tasked me with creating a comprehensive guide that could be followed by their UX/UI designers to create a consistent look across the brand.
During this process, I realized that Beacon did not have a full logo suite so I created one for them. They were also using several different color breakdowns so I made sure to align on the color breakdowns for the brand colors and make sure they were consistent everywhere they were being used.
Website Design
I worked with a developer to create Beacon’s first marketing website to bring the brand to life.
The personality traits of Bold, Empowering, and Reliable were used to lead the design.
Social Media
Working with the marketing team, I created a social media presence on Linkedin where users can easily engage with Beacon. I created banners for both the company page and employee pages. I also set up templates in Figma for easy creation of new posts and targeted ads.
