Donald Hampton left his small town in Pennsylvania at 19 and moved to the big apple to pursue his passion for branding and design. Donald holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Advertising Design with minors in Art History and Creative Technology from the Fashion Institute of Technology located in New York City.

For the first 3 years of his career, Donald worked as a Branding Designer at FCB Health, one of the largest healthcare agencies globally. There he helped bring pharmaceutical brands to life, working on strategy, naming, logos, and design system creation. Donald worked with major pharma companies such as Novartis, AbbVie, Gilead, Pfizer, Janssen, and Sanofi. During his time at FCB Health, Donald designed the logos and brand systems for Piqray, Camcevi, and Nexletol/Nexlezet, and led the packaging redesign for Imbruvica, the 7th highest-selling pharmaceutical drug globally.

Donald left FCB Health to pursue an opportunity at an AI-based financial tech startup, AlphaSense. He has been with the company for 3+ years and currently sits on the marketing team as a Senior Brand Designer. As a Senior Brand Designer, he helps the marketing team create materials such as one-pagers, guides, blog post imagery, social media content, presentations, landing pages, event design, and webinar design. He also works closely with the sales team to create custom content to support them in their efforts to gain new users or upsell existing users. In addition to his everyday responsibilities, he has a passion for Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace, and has organized events and newsletters during the various awareness months. He also leads the Book and Media club where we talk about various social topics in an effort to create open dialect on issues that matter to our peers.

In his free time he enjoys live music, drawing, painting, illustration, photography, watching movies, and wandering around the streets of NYC, being inspired by the life and energy that lives within its walls. Donald currently lives in Brooklyn with his cat named Forest, and wouldn’t want it any other way.
