About

Donald Hampton left his small town in Pennsylvania at 19 to pursue his passion for branding and design in New York City. He earned a BFA in Advertising Design with minors in Art History and Creative Technology from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

He began his career at FCB Health, one of the world’s largest healthcare agencies, where he spent three years building pharmaceutical brands through strategy, naming, logo design, and visual systems. His clients included Novartis, AbbVie, Gilead, Pfizer, Janssen, and Sanofi. Notable work includes branding for Piqray, Camcevi, and Nexletol/Nexlezet, and a packaging redesign for Imbruvica, the 7th highest-selling drug globally.

Donald now works as a Senior Brand Designer at AI-driven fintech startup AlphaSense, where he’s been for over six years. He supports marketing and sales through a wide range of creative work, from social content to event design. He also leads initiatives supporting diversity and inclusion as the Regional Chair of the company’s LGBTQ+ group.

Outside of work, Donald enjoys live music, illustration, photography, and wandering NYC for inspiration. He lives in Brooklyn with his cat, Forest.
